As many of you know I started another Advocare 24 Day Challenge almost 2 weeks ago and I recruited my parents to do it with me! We are now done with our cleanse phase so I thought I would check in and let you all know how it is going so far!
I’m not going to lie this second challenge has been ALOT easier then my first one! I think it’s easier this time because I know what to expect and also because I have two people within my household who are also doing it.
Here are some of the yummy things I’ve eaten during my 24 Day Challenge:
Egg Muffins: These are so easy to grab and eat on the go!
I literally go through hard boiled eggs like non other! They are perfect for breakfast, snacks and part of lunch or dinner! I don’t even need to add salt & pepper. Garlic powder is a great topper is you need some sort of seasoning.
I have eaten a LOT of salads in the past 10 days! I work nights so when I’m at work I don’t like to eat a super heavy meal so I almost always bring a salad! I love topping my salads with my super easy Greek Vinaigrette.
Almonds are another staple for me! I love eating them as a quick and simple snack! They are great for pre-workout. You can try my Seasoned Almonds recipe. I’ll also be posting a Spicy Almonds recipe soon!
This mango salsa recipe is AMAZING and tastes great on top of fish or chicken! I tweaked the recipe slightly and added avocado. It was so good!
I made some yummy turkey burgers and instead of having bread as the bun I used romaine leaves. Worked great! I didn’t even miss the bread which is INSANE because I LOVE bread
Yummy sweet potato fries…. I tossed mine with olive oil, cinnamon and chili powder. So good!

During the cleanse phase I stuck to eating fresh veggies & fruit, lean proteins and complex carbs. I cut out dairy.
During the max phase I will eat exactly the same except I will allow myself a small amount of dairy…. cause this girl loves her cheese almost as much as she loves her bread
Now how about some results!
So far I am down 6.5 lbs and 6.5 inches!! I’m super excited about my results and can’t wait to see my final results in a couple weeks.
My mom is down 3 lbs and almost 3 inches. She doesn’t have as much to lose as I do
My dad is down 5 lbs and a couple inches.
These are only the results after the cleanse phase… now we are on to the max phase which is 14 days. Some people lose lots in the cleanse phase, some in the max phase and some in both!
