I’m linking up with Becky for a Treat Yourself Tuesday to share my fun and yummy treats from the past week!
If you are interested in hearing about how #treatyourselftuesday began check it out here. Becky is a firm supporter of treating ourselves even in the smallest ways. It can be with shopping, working out, sweet treats…. anything that is for you!
Sunday Fun Day
I had Sunday off from work so I went out on my Aunt and Uncle’s new boat with them! It was a beautiful day to be on the water. It is finally feeling like summer in Minnesota!
Since it was my day off…. and a holiday weekend I enjoyed a couple of these babies! I really like the Raspberry flavor! I had such a fun time out on the water and I have a great start to my summer tan!
As many of you know I am LOVING making homemade Kefir right now…. did you know you can make Kefir Water!!!! I’ve been experimenting with flavors and I’m really loving this Strawberry Lemonade Kefir Water that I most recently made! No worries recipe coming soon! I’ll be sharing lots of Kefir recipes with you guys because once you start making your own Kefir you never stop
If you guys haven’t tried Seven Sundays yet you REALLY need to!!!! It is now sold in Target stores so go pick some up!!!!! Incase you are wondering what Muesli is…. it is like granola but it is oil free, not cooked or only slightly cooked, less sweet and tastes great hot or cold!
Yesterday I treated myself to a delicious salad before work!! I love mixing a whole bunch of stuff together!! Salad isn’t just about the lettuce and dressing
New Blog Layout
Did you notice that my blog looks 100% different!!!! In just two short days I managed to completely redesign my blog all by myself!!! My blog is now running on the Genesis framework and I bought the Foodie Theme because it is amazing! Both sites have amazing tutorials which made it so easy to install everything myself! I still have A LOT of stuff to do…. I’m working on my recipe index page so eventually you will be able to find all of my recipes there. Hope you like it so far
I was at Target earlier today and I had to buy some Sushi for lunch! I don’t buy it often but when I do it certainly is a treat! I am a total sushi lover
Photography Props/Kitchen Utensils
I was in St. Paul earlier today and realized I still had TWO gift cards to Cooks of Crocus so I stopped in to see if I could find a few food props! Clearly they had a great selection!!!!!! The ladies working were so friendly and helpful and I got loaded up with TONS of goodies!!! I can’t wait to get cooking and photographing! I picked up a couple of the hand towels from Target also! If you are ever on Grand Ave make sure you stop by the Cooks of Crocus shop! They also have cooking classes which I LOVE! I’ve gone to a few classes and have loved all of them
